Harold Adamson wrote a song "It Isn't So Much That I Wouldn't"
for the film of the same name Long Lost Father starring
John Barrymore, Sr. in 1934. John, Jr. seen in the photo with
Drew was only 2 years old in 1934. |
Drew Blythe Barrymore
Actress
Birth Feb 22, 1975 - Culver City, CA
Drew was born at Brotman Hospital in Culver City and since
her parents separated before she was born Drew has learned to
cope on her own. She once told The New York Times "I
really have no idea of what growing up in a normal household
is like." In 1984 Drew Barrymore gave a great performance
in Firestarter, with George C. Scott. Drew took
on the entire U.S. government and won in this film. I personally
found Drew's performance more emotional in Firestarter than E.T.
(A good friend M. Augustine was one of
Steven Speilberg's closest friends in highschool). In
Firestarter everyone worried for"Charlie's: (Drew) safety.
Yet Charlie was no Angel for everywhere she went it was a Hell
of a time. George C.Scott, gave a great performance in Firestarter
and wanted to kill little Charlie as a CIA assassin. Scott married
Colleen Dewhurst, who grew up with my mother Nancy Kissam Ely.

In 1989 Drew Barrymore was in film "See You in the
Morning" with Jeff Bridges and Farrah Fawcett. Jeff Bridges
is a great actor and has the reputation of being one of the most
liked and modest in Hollywood. A real human being and extremely
healthy. I met him once after he had fasted for twelve days about
25 years ago. Bridges has four Academy Award nominations and
with the right script could win an Oscar, easily. Drew in her
early years was lucky to have the opportunity of having acted
with Bridges. My sister watched Jeff in film Crazy Heart and
said "it was like being in a bar." She did not like
it. Yet my other sister loves Jeff Bridges in anything he does
and she does not drink.
In 1982-83 I worked at Century 21 in Brentwood as a real
estate agent and Lloyd Bridges came in to by his sons a home
in Santa Monica. The home he had in mine was worth 1.5 million
he got it out of probate for $600,000 cash. It was good to see
Jeff Bridges and Drew win Golden
Globe Awards at the same time.
In 1990 Drew co-authored a book with Todd Gold "Little
Girl Lost," about her out-of-control behavior. In 1993
Drew admited having talent but did not feel she was a good actress.
"I have an ability for adapting characters and turning into
other people." In 1993 Drew stared in No Place To Hide
with Kris Kristofferson a policeman and his friend (O.J. Simpson)
saved Stinsel Hanley's (Drew) life with a sledgehammer when two
assassins came to kill Stinsel. This was two years before O.J.
Simpson was arrested for the deaths of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman.
One should note that in 1995 Simpson was involved in a film Frogmen
in which he was a Navy SEAL (often under cover for the CIA) who
killed his wife with a knife in the film. If this film was released
today, one could see if there are CIA ties to Frogman
. No Place to Hide is a story about a secret government
which takes the law into their own hands and kill at random,
much like the CIA. No Place to Hide, was Drew at her best
and is a favorite of her earlier films. I enjoyed Kris Kristofferson's
acting and kind of wish I had at this time been her Long Lost
Father. It was a very exciting film and recommend it highly.
I thought Drew was very attractive in this film.

investigation into the people whom worked on this film would
be in order to see if any have CIA ties.
When Drew landed a role in Home Fries, the script
was not the highest quality. The movie was held together with
Drew's personality. I think guys like Drew because she does not
appear to let success go to her head. Her boyfriends are just
average guys, nothing special. Gals like her because they can
relate to her. It seems that the younger generations love her
personality! Drew was terrific in Boys on the Side, a
great movie playing different stages of her life, a teenager,
a young woman, a mother and a divorcee.
Drew knows her characters ins and outs, and takes on scripts
and has the knack of winning the audience over with a variety
of comical, dramatic and romantic roles. It seems that Drew is
at her best in fun lighthearted films. Drew has done well by taking on bad girl
roles such as Poison-Ivy and The Story of Amy Fisher.
In Amy Fisher Drew through her dialect coach purrrrrrfected her
New Jersey accent as if she was born and raised there. The bad girl image
is performed well. One can hardly believe it is Drew, sounds
just like Amy Fisher. James Carrey did a verion of Amy Fisher
on the T.V. comedy In Living Color, he played "Joey Buttafuoco."
It was very funny, it would be kool to see Carrey and Drew in
a comedy together if the right script could be found
In the last five years Drew has been a big hit, breaking
all barriers, with both the younger and older generations. Everyone
can related to her personality, elderly men and women, young
teenage girls and boys alike. Three back-to-back hits The
Wedding Singer, Ever After and Never Been Kissed
have shown the American public that this is a person who has
much to offer. The American public seens to enjoy these type
of movies, believeable romantic comedies. Drew may have missed
being born in the 1960s, yet she often portray's the ideal 1960s
chick. Drew seems to keep the sixties alive, check out her clothes
in Wishful Thinking. Her roles often include 60s fashion
that can not be beat and would make even Emilo Pucci jealous.
After her last three hits Drew delivered a bombshell with
Charlie's Angels as an actor and producer which was a
hit. Her production company knows who watches her movies, and
thus produced films with this in mind targetting the younger
generations. Great visual effects. Myself, I enjoy the real life
stories or Drew in the funny romantic comedies. As far as income
Drew has done very well with Charlie's Angels. It is not easy
to be a critic when they do not have the means to compete, like
myself. I think what most people like about Drew is that she
is successful and not dragged down as shewas as a kid. Myself,
I freeze up in front of a camera.
Acting to Drew comes natural, for many people freeze up
on the screen or just don't come across as natural. Not Drew,
since she has been in front of the camera at the age of three
Drew does not come across as the stuffy Hollywood type. But as
a common person. People find it easy to relate, as they find
themselves laughing along side her. Yet, it has not been an easy
road, for Drew admitted "It's strange, very strange, how
I survived with the upbringing I had, the I life I led...I have
been my own person since the time I was 7..." She loves
expressing herself and getting "really good feeback from"
people she trusts. How many other actors or actresses whom have
produced their own movies at the early of 23? Drew Barrymore
has followed in the family tradition and has earned the respect
of the American public. This tradition dates back two and one
half centuries. When the producers of one movie wanted her to
be chauffeured in a limo to the set, she said 'No, you're not
going to treat me like a baby...I can get to work on time on
my own."
In Riding in Cars with Boys, Drew plays a young
teenager, a young mother and an older mother. One can hardly
believe that Drew could handle all of these roles. She does it
extremely well just as her great-great-grandmother, Louisa Lane-Drew
had done when she first arrived in the United States in 1828
by playing the parts of five characters in one play. They say
"everything has been done before" how true it is!
Joel Schumacher said of Drew "She knows how she feels
about everthing. She's a total professional. She comes to work
ready. She knows every line of dialogue. All her emotions are
very much on th surface, which is surprising. For someone with
her background, you'd think she'd have buried everything. She
hasn't.
Confessions of A Dangerous Mind has a great cast,
George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Matt Dillion, Brad Pitt and Drew
Barrymore. Stay tuned for Charlie Angels II, also Confessions
of A Dangerous Mind which is due to be release in November or
early next year 2003. This movie has a great cast, George Clooney,
Julia Roberts, Matt Dillion, Brad Pitt and Drew Barrymore. It is a story about Chuck
Barris' life as a CIA assassin. "Chuck" won't say if
it is true or not. Adamson discovered in Chuck Barris' biography
that his uncle-by-marriage was CBS owner William S. Paley who
admits working with CIA, employed CIA- self proclaimed assassin
George de Mohrenschildt. Who was friends with Lee Harvey Oswald.
I would doubt that Barris was really a CIA assassin but may have
thought up of the idea through his uncle-by-marriage.

Show. Did the CIA have it's claws deep into Barris and George
Clooney?
Charlie's
Angels it has been rumored to stand for the CIA. The T.V. series
was co-created by Ivan Goff. Who are these Angles working for?
My housekeeper "Irene" worked for Ivan Goff, the creator
of Charlies Angels and Mission Impossible. Goff's next door neighbor
was President Kennedy's brother-in-law, Peter Lawford. JFK would
often take a swim while visiting his family in Santa Monica.
Vogue Magazine wrote an article saying that Drew was the "creator"
of Charlie's Angels. They didn't want to admit they had made
an editorial mistake. Yet I think even Drew will admit that Benny
Hill produced the best film entitled "Charlene's Angels."

Really enjoyed 50 First Dates, this movie has terrific
photography in Hawaii. Drew must have had a lot of fun making
this film. This film is suppose to have made more money than
any other romantic-comedy in history. I am sure that her great
grandmother Georgina Drew-Barrymore would have been proud of
Drew. Georgina in the late 1800s was also an expert romantic-comic
actress. In this film you will find that everyone Love's Lucy.
Had the Academy had a category for Romantic Comedies, Drew may
have been nominated and won an Oscar for Producing or acting
in 50 First Dates. Drew seems to be at her best in romantic comedies.
Drew also took time off to produce a film documentary in
which she travelled around the U.S. getting students out to vote.
Drew's very first documentary. I don't want to sound critical,
yet it shows, 1). that Drew is only human. When one is a corporation
having so many people to work with, the best in the business
they can't miss. I am sure her intentions were well to get people
Out and Vote. Yet, a lot of money was not poured into this film
and one can see that. Drew took a year out of her life to produce
it. Great motivation though!
Drew's next film Fever Pitch is about the
Boston Red Soxs and had to be rewritten when the Boston Red Soxs
won the series, opens April 8, 2005. I caught the Sneak Preview
of Fever Pitch on April 3rd. A keen sense of knowing what the
people can relate to will make this film a hit. What luck! Picking
a story about the Boston Red Sox when they destroyed their curse
the "Legend of the Babino." What was so remarkable
was the way they did it. It must have been scary for Drew to
make the run in one take across center field during the game.
It had some funny scenes and some serious romantic scenes. This
film will be a hit because all sorts of people can watch it.
PG-13 rating. Johnny Damon, looked like he would have been a
better boyfriend for Drew than Jimmy Fallon. Yet, Jimmy Fallon
did a great job of acting. Timing was great for Fever Pitch.
When it came to going to St. Louis Drew said: "I was like,
We're going to jinx it just by flying down there. In "St.
Louis." I was in St. Louis, a great town, because St. Louis
was honoring my 4th great grandfather. Rufus, Easton that is,
was first postmaster. Ironically the games were played right
next to the St. Louis Arch where Rufus Easton built the very
first post office in 1804. Two centuries ago! Isn't that totally
Rufus?
Enjoyed the light comedy of Music and Lyrics. In the film
as "Sophie" Drew seems to come across as someone who
wants to have a positive influrence on the youth. Unlike many.
Smart move to rate film PG and Hugh Grant is light and smooth.
It seem similiar in theme to Wedding Singer and Never Been Kissed.
Great for light romantic comedy.

JOSIE GELLER is
that You! Naw, this is a greataunt Ethel Barrymore 1914. Drew
looks to be Reincarnated!
